Adding a Group

The group ACL entry type establishes permissions for members of a specific group in the home cell, or any other cell with which your cell has a trust relationship, unless the group members are specifically named in ACL entries of entry type user or owner.

The ACL editor allows you to set permissions for two types of group entries:

· Members of the object's owner's group (ACL entry type: owner's group). See Adding Owner Information for information on how to add an owner's group.

· Members of a specific group in a specified cell (ACL entry type: group). You must identify the group by supplying a group name and a cell name, if other than the default.
