Key Features
- Entegrity DCE Runtime - Consists of runtime libraries,
daemon binaries, administrative tools and online documentation.
Necessary for each machine that will be a DCE client.
- Entegrity DCE Security Server - The Entegrity DCE
Security Server is based on respected Kerberos technology,
and provides user and application authentication and authorization.
At least one Entegrity DCE Security Server is necessary
to configure a DCE cell. An additional server kit is necessary
for each desired replica. The recommended minimum for any
cell is two servers in order to support fail-over.
- Entegrity DCE CDS Server - The CDS server stores
and maintains object names within a cell and handles requests
to create, modify, and look up data. At least one Entegrity
DCE Cell Directory Server is necessary to configure a DCE
cell. An additional server kit is necessary for each desired
replica. The recommended minimum for any cell is two servers
in order to support fail-over.
- Entegrity DCE ADK - Includes the IDL compiler,
as well as header files and libraries necessary to compile
DCE applications. Necessary for any site that intends to
develop DCE applications. Once development is complete,
a runtime kit is necessary for each machine that will run
a component of the DCE application.
- Entegrity DFS Client - Consists of runtime libraries,
cache management and online documentation. Necessary for
each machine that will be a DFS client. DCE is a prerequisite.
- Entegrity DFS Server - The DFS Server allows users
to share files stored on computers in a network as easily
as files stored on a local machine. Server available only
for HP Tru64, but soon will be available for Linux. DCE
is a prerequisite.
