Login to cell...(Actions Menu)

DCE Login provides access to selected objects in DCE by initializing a user's DCE security environment. DCE Login uses a password to authenticate a user to the DCE Security Service. The security service returns credentials, which are then used to authenticate the user to distributed services that can be accessed during a DCE session.

$image\wmf_dcem0037.gif$ To log in to a DCE cell:

1. Select the cell you want to log in to from the Cells viewer.

2. Pull down the Actions menu and select Login to Cell....
The DCE Login dialog box is displayed with the name of the selected cell in the Cell name field.

3. Enter a user account and a password in the User Account and Password fields.

4. Click OK to apply the action and dismiss the dialog box.
