Create a User Account

When you create a user, DCE Director creates both a principal and an account. You do not have to first create the principal and then the account as you would have to do if you were using rgy_edit. A user is any object whose name does not begin with hosts/ or krbtgt/ and whose name is not dce-ptgt or dce-rgy.

The Create DCE User Account dialog box permits access to three different dialog boxes that you select from the View or Modify drop-down list box:

· Name and Password

· Group Memberships

· DCE UNIX Information
