It is recommended that you include six server machines as a minimum complex cell configuration:
· Two hosts with GDA, CDS, and DTS
· Two hosts with Security and DTS
· Two hosts with applications, print queues, and printers
Notice that this configuration dedicates server machines to core services and replicates core services for failover. Complex cells may also elect to place all master server machines for DCE core services within one LAN (possibly the cell clusters) and distribute the replicated server machines among the remaining LANs in the cell.
