Configuring Your System as a Master Security Server

When you create a new cell, you need to configure a master Security server and supply the following information:

· Security server name, which must be unique for the cell. If not provided, your DCE host name will be used.

· Principal account name.

· Password for the principal.

· Confirmation of the password.

If you are configuring a master Security server on this system and a master Directory server on another system, you are performing a split server installation.
