To copy an ACL from another object: To copy an ACL from another object:
1. Open the ACL you want to copy.
2. Pull down the ACL menu and select Copy ...
The Copy ACL dialog box appears with the path for the active ACL displayed in the From field.
3. In the To field, enter the name of the object to which you want to copy the current ACL.
4. Specify the target ACL's Type as Object's ACL, Initial Object ACL, Initial Container ACL, or Namespace Entry ACL. The default is the type of the source ACL. For more information about ACL types, see ACL Types
5. Click OK to complete the dialog box, and display the new ACL.
