Environmental Influences on Command Syntax
There are variations in the action of the control program, depending on whether commands are entered from the system prompt or from within the control program. For example, entering
the annotation field of profile elements from the system prompt allows you to include internal spaces in an annotation.

Note: Some UNIX systems require that you put an escape symbol (\) before string binding delimiters such as brackets ([ ]) or that you put the delimiters
within quotation marks (' ' or " ") at the system prompt.
