Encrypted Sessions
A user may be transmitting sensitive or private data during the remote session. By specifying the -x option to rlogin, rsh, all session data transmitted between the remote hosts will be encrypted with the shared session key. This option is subject to export control and may not be available outside the United States and Canada.
