Machine Accounts
All machines must also have accounts in the registry. Machine accounts, like server accounts, are created by first running the account create command to create the account and then running the keytab add command to add the server's password to the keytab file. Like server accounts, the password for a machine account in the registry and in the keytab file must match. Principal names in machine accounts must be the same as the machine's name in the cell namespace. (See OSF DCE Administration Guide - Introduction for more information on names in the cell namespace.)
