Restarting Clerks and Servers
CDS clerk and server processes are created and started automatically by start-up scripts that execute whenever the host system is rebooted. Sometimes, however, you may need to run
these scripts yourself if a clerk or server fails to start automatically upon reboot, or if you want to restart a clerk or server that you disabled to perform a backup or do diagnostic work on the
host system.
